The crowd cheered in the arena as a huge Jumbotron T.V displayed pictures of the competitors. The tournament had begun, and already a crazed fan waved flags with "Team Conder" written on them. It appears he had made a misspelling...or is it foreshadowing? An uproar began as the two teams entered the arena.

Mysha and Shijo strode in together, waving to what they hoped were their fans... Honestly though, they looked like a very odd bunch! From Conder banners to pictures of the Tardis Toilet, they certainly had their own way of supporting both the teams!

Team Howler (aka. ican'tcomeupwithadecentname) were in the house!

((How about for rewards you get the normal amount of stats for each battle. Then the winner would still end up with more points than the loser -I think- and it would probably be easier to add them on, too))

Yep, sonds good! That way the max we can get is 30 points and the minimum is 15. Oh my god, were in STAT heaven.)

The crowd went wild as Team Spoon entered the arena. They had decided to surprise the crowd by not choosing Team Muffin or Team Conder, and instead went for something completely unrelated. Miranda waved while walking into the large stadium, wearing shades and a leather jacket with "PUN LIFE" written on the back. Muffin shaped missiles were launched into the air, and muffins were fired out of cannons into the crowd.
Are you ready to begin the tournament? I can't wait

Shijo leapt up into the air and caught one of the muffins fired from the missiles! What a way to start the tournament.

"I was born ready!" Mysha boasted, then winced along with the crowd. Corny intimidation tactics were clearly not the way to go in this situation!
"I- uh- anyway! Shall we roll a heal, see who goes first in Round Uno?"

Everyone in the crowd stopped cheering, and stared at Mysha incredulously. Laughing nervously, she flipped the actual heal...

Cinder's eyes went wide as he suddenly dodged a surprise magical attack that flew past his head.
Yeah, well it looks like you weren't born ready to roll the heal die! The crowd booed at both teams, and many demanded a full refund. Some even started climbing into the muffin cannons and launching themselves back home.
Uh...maybe we should just start, shall we?

The most legendary of heal rolls! Any of the crowd that had remained after the initial catastrophe all faceplanted through the world to Australia.

(Wow, we both did so well there)

Crackling into life, the speaker suddenly announced "TEAM SPOON LAUNCHING NEXT ATTACK. PLATFORM RAISING". Suddenly, the battle stage was raised higher into the air, and the pets got into positions in the middle. There was no chickening out now!

Lets do this! Cinder, I choose you! Miranda said, throwing a poke all off of Cinder's head.

Shijo scampered out to face him, glad he wasn't the one getting hit by a 'poke all'!

(I'm going to leave it to your imagination what a "poke all" is. What was Cinder poked with? That's up to you...)

Cinder nodded at his opponent then stuck his tongue out at him, trying to wind him up. A countdown suddenly boomed across the stadium and he quickly stopped his antics. The crowd was watching!
The one person left in the crowd says "woohoo".


3...2...1...GO!!
Wasting no time at all, he decided to use his new tactic. He quickly focused his mind and blocked out all noises...and launched his elemental damage! This was his master plan!

'Mind Bonus' :

"Invasion of the Sentient Bagels" was played! Cinder felt invigorated with energy, and felt super quick and evasive. He felt like he could dodge all physical attacks! (Probably because that's what the power does)
He smiled at Miranda and faced his opponent. He wondered what they would do in retaliation.

Not again! Shijo huffed a sigh of exasperation, having got a serious case of de-ja-vu...

On with the battle, he decided to let loose a hyper bark!

((Magical attacks do work by using half your attack and accuracy, not your usual physical attack stats, right? I think that's how Hiira said you use them...))

And the pup broke down in yet another coughing fit! Perhaps he was coming down with something...

(Oh, I thought they were just like normal! I need to brush up on yogpets rules a bit more, I think.

Oh dear, I was supposed to remind you to get that checked out, wasn't I? I hope Shijo has had the vaccination for the miss plague last week, its going around again!
Cinder watched as his friend was taken over by sudden spasms. Was he posessed? Or maybe it was a cough...either way, that one person in the crowd obviously wasn't fazed by this.
Taking his opportunity, Cinder jumped high into the air and fell back down to Shijo, before releasing a psybeam at close proximity!

Ouch! Cinder had certainly gotten a lot stronger since their last battle! Having gotten over most of the coughing fit, though, Shijo decided to try and retaliate in the same way as before...

Whoop whoop! Shijo let loose a powerful hyper bark, the first one he'd actually managed to achieve without coughing himself silly since... well, any Yogpet battle, ever!

((I have no idea what I'm doing for my next turn, though. Welp.))

Cinder was blown back by the attack, and backflipped over and over again before coming to a halt just on the edge of the stage. That could have ended badly! Getting up and shaking his ears wildly to dust himself off, and nearly causing a hurricane, he quickly teleported behind Shijo and took him by surprise! Er, with a pepper spray!
