~THE MUFFIN CUP TOURNAMENT~

Shijo ducked out of the way of the spray just in time, then leapt right up into Cinder's face to use his Elemental attack...

Oh no, not Jam Splurt attack! The stage suddenly filled with lava, and Cinder started wildly jumping up and down to try and avoid getting burned. He hovered in the air to avoid the lava, but fell back into the pool with twice the force! While he was bothered with his frankly terrible swimming skills, he didn't realise his opponent was getting ready to attack!

Whoa... the Elemental dice was certainly very effective! Silently thanking his near-immunity to heat and fire, Shijo splashed a scalding wave of lava towards where Cinder was flailing!

And Cinder was down! (I think. Don't trust my maths) The sound of a gong heralded the end of Round Uno of the Muffin Tournament...

(Wait, you get extra dice? When did this happen? What did I miss DX)

Cinder HP: -0 (it's so bad, it's minus 0)

Cinder was sitting in the sun, enjoying a nice bagel. Sure, it was a tournament and there was lava on the floor, but there was always time for a nice bagel. He wanted a change from muffins you see. Always with the muffins. Just make time for bagels, man. Suddenly, he felt a strange heat approach his face. SWOOSH! Lava was thrown at him, and his bagel was dissolved before his very eyes.

He couldn't let this injustice against bagels stand. Screw the gong, THE FIGHT WASN'T OVER! He jumped over the the attraction section, and started firing the muffin cannons at Shijo! The stadium became covered in muffins, and the crowd was in complete hysteria! He set of all of the muffin missiles, trying to get Shijo back for his heinous crime! What a way to end round 1!

((While Mikenno may have put all his stats towards a more offensive approach, I decided to heed Hiira's advice and try and turn the tables on the terror of the miss plague!
It took a very long time... but eventually I managed it!))

Chaos broke out in the arena! Shijo managed to dodge the first few missiles by swallowing their contents whole, but before long the boisterous Puppup was buried in a pile of the sugary snacks! What a sticky end for the young pup to come to...

The muffins kept coming and coming, until the vast quantity of baked goods caused a full on muffin tidal wave! The arena was swept by the huge muffin  doombringer, until the stadium came out looking...exactly like it did before the tournament! It seems the muff-wave had swept all of the stuff away, leaving a spotless fighting arena! Well, it looks like everything was sorted out for round 2, then!

Shijo sunk to his none-existent knees, lamenting over the loss of muffins, bagels and his lava bath. Oh well... he supposed he'd see more of them next round! That kind of thing seemed to happen frequently during his matched with Cinder...

Well that certainly sorted things out! Mysha just stood there for a moment, blinking in confusion as the muffin doombringer swept around here, before looking across at Miranda. "Did that just... did we just... Oh I don't even know any more, lets just flip the coin for next round!"

A muffin suddenly fell from above, landing into Miranda's hands. I'm getting sort of worried...what if rolling the heal die causes a bagel invasion or something? Anything could happen! Oh well...could be fun anyway! Cinder jumped back into his fighting stance (I can't imagine what this could be, but OK) as Miranda dug into her pocket and brought out her heal die, which had suddenly became a physical thing and not a concept anymore. Let's get this show on the road!

Shijo let out an inaudible sigh of relief; the rolling of the dice had not resulted in some kind of apocalypse, or a confectionery-related tidal wave! That was a first! 

Sinking into a similar battle stance to Cinder (something made a little bit easier thanks to the fact that he actually had arms of some kind, albeit rather small ones) the Puppup took in a deep breath, then attempted to shoot a magma ball at his opponent.

It wasn't quite the same as hurling a flaming muffin, but it got the job done!

((Also my stats have gone up since our last battle, but I'm gonna keep them the same because fairness, etc.  ))

Cinder is blown back by the attack, and significantly sizzled. Breaking the fourth wall slightly, he looks up at the Red Text and notices he's already lost 57 HP in the first turn. He had 69 HP. Hooray.

He promptly spins around and flies out of the stadium like a helicopter. Screw that.

...JK, he actually fires a psybeam attack instead.

The psybeam attack hit Shijo head on, sending him staggering backwards as a confusing mess of sound and colour flashed across his vision. He was already getting a headache, and the battle had barely begun!

Maybe it was from all the fourth-wall breaking. Not being the smartest pup in the world, he chose to smash his way through it with his head, which often lead to much confusion as the madness of the Yogpet world followed him through! Conders and teleporting toilets would run around in the real world unchecked, until someone wrote them back into a RP once more!

Suddenly realising that he had rambled on for long enough, Shijo shook himself back to reality and fired up his elemental bonus!
