Tide's First Battle

Teak flinched in pain but still managed to quickly break away. "NOT BAD, BUT NOW IT'S OUR MOVE AGAIN!" Teak lunged forward for another tackle attack.

(They still count as physical damage; it's just a way of personalizing your attacks and adding depth to the RP. However, Teak "is still a young pup and has not yet learned how to harness his element yet.

Also, I won't be able to post all of next week until late afternoon on Sunday. Sorry.)

Tide jumped out of the way just in time to avoid being hit by the attack. "Now it's my turn!" he shouted, caught up in the excitement of the battle. He rushed in for a tackle attack as well, trying to do one stronger than his opponent.

(Ooc: Okay, thanks! I was trying to figure out what would still be considered physical damage or what would be magical.
And that's okay! I can wait for us to continue our battle if necessary. I'm assuming I can still participate in other RPs that aren't related to this battle while I wait for you to return)

Teak staggered backwards, taken aback by his opponent's powerful attack. His breathing was staggered, and he was beginning to lose his patience. "I... am... not... gonna... lose... AGAIN!" Teak began to focus all of his energy, rage and adrenaline clouding his mind. A green glowing aura formed around his body as he unleashed his fury in one unpredictable spell.

The spell cast a regenerative field, drawing energy from the sun to heal his body through natural processes at an (extremely) accelerated rate. Within seconds, Teak not only felt refreshed, but feeling even more energetic more powerful than he did before.
Cole was absolutely awestruck. "Teak! Y-You used your first spell!"
Teak, though proud and physically rejuvinated, was now mentally exhausted. "YEAH, BUT LET'S NOT DO THAT AGAIN FOR A WHILE..."

"Be careful Ty, it will be harder to defeat him now!" Dragoneko warned. "I'll still try my best!" Tide replied, enjoying the battle but now realizing that he was beginning to get tired. Pushing those thoughts away for a few more moments, he jumped and swiped his arms in a slashing attack.

Teak tried to block, but it was broken by his opponent's powerful attack, and again he took heavy damage. "Looks like it's a good thing we healed."
"DON'T WORRY, COLE. I HAVE AN IDEA!"
"Oh, this oughta be good," Cole said in a worried tone.
"JUST TRUST ME!" With that, Teak dissappeared into the bushes before reappearing at the top of a neaby Tree. He jumped high into the air, yelling, "BELLY FLOP!!!"

Tide looked up in surprise as Teak jumped at him from the tree and hit him with a powerful belly flop!
He got back up, but not as quickly as after previous attacks. His breathing was a bit heavier, and he knew that he probably wasn't far from losing. Giving up won't help me get any better though!
He tried to imitate an attack he saw his opponent use earlier and attempted a bite attack! I hope this works!
"You can do it, Ty!"

Tide latched onto Teak with a powerful bite. Teak tried to break free, but all the struggling simply dove his opponent's teeth further in. Finally, he shook him off, exhaustion reforming on his face.
"Looks like it's time to try out our new move! Go, Teak! Wrap him up!"

Teak wrapped his opponent up in the loop on his head and began to slam him on the ground, with great effort. To finish him off, Teak flung him into a nearby tree.

Tide was caught by surprise when after he had been thrown off of his opponent he was lifted up and slammed into the ground. Feeling dizzy from the hit, he wasn't able to break free of Teak's grasp before he was thrown into the tree. When he hit the ground, he was unconscious.
Dragoneko ran over and scooped him up. "He's alright! And thank you for battling us, you're really good! I guess we need to try some more training."

"Don't worry. You two did great! We mostly won because of dumb-luck. Trust me, you two will make one heck of a team!"
Teak was still in shock after the battle. "WE WON? WE WON! ALL RIGHT, COLE! WE DID IT!"
"We sure did, pal," Cole laughed. "Come on, we have people waiting for us, Teak." Cole gestured to Teak to hurry up and began to make his exit. "Oh, yeah." Cole stopped, pulling out a bottle of mineral water out of his bag. He tossed the water at Dragoneko. "Don't worry; it's filled with nutrients to promote growth and recovery." Cole smiled, looking down at young Tide, then back at Dragoneko. "Till our paths meet again, someday..."
