Open battle with Cronite!

Cronite dodges out of the way.
"Ice Shurikens! That worked well last time..."

"Welp, I guess I spoke too soon." Cronite says kind of sadly as his shurikens melt in the air between him and Pepper.

Pepper watches, conserving her strength, a bit upset that none of her attacks seem to be working.
"How about you try using Wind Chill, Pepper!"
Agreeing, the mintpup freezes the vapor in the air, and sends the shards of ice hurdling toward her opponent.
"Just do your best!" Lydia calls out to her.

The member 'Rapture' has done the following action : Battle Phases

#1 'Physical Damage' : 13, 2

It was tricky but the Cryspup managed to dodge the shards.
"Ice Wave!"
A small wall of ice forms in front of Cronite, he pushes it forwards and it slides towards Pepper

Pepper runs out of time to dodge and is knocked backwards. Exhausted, she slowly gets up, and in frustration, acts on her own, sending out another Freeze Ray.

Pepper was fast enough to get and through a Freeze Ray, that Cronite didn't have enough time to dodge the attack.
"You can do this, Cronite. You can do this!" Nick says to his Cryspup.
"Yes, I can!"

(Ok apparently I didn't do it right. Do you know how to use the elemental bonus die?)

(It seems the ice bonus dice graphics aren't working right now. (I tried it earlier) So what you'd do is go to this post, look for the ice dice section, and the number of the bonus you have corresponds to the dice numbers. In this case you have die #3, "Ice". So I basically miss two turns by default.)

The ground around Pepper becomes icy and unstable. She can't keep her balance and is unable to attack.

"Nice, one Cronite!" Nick says.
"I think I'm getting used to battling. Ice Ball!" Cronite shouts.

"Again, I guess I spoke too soon." Cronite says sadly as it lands about a foot away from Pepper.

Sliding on the ice underneath her, Pepper manages to barely miss the attack, but she's still having trouble gaining her footing, and cannot make any offensive action toward Cronite.

(Whoops! Forgot the Battle Phase thingie!)

Cronite watches as Pepper slips, the shurikens flying over her head.
"Dang it!" Cronite whispers to himself.

It seemed like the ice worked more to Pepper's advantage as it melts away and she finds stable ground.
"Okay, Pepper. Let's use Wind Chill once more!"
Pepper squeaks in agreement and readies her attack.
