Unfortunately Cinder was too exhausted, and the energy beam simply diffused into the air. Slightly discouraged, there was nothing he could do now but try and defend from Hawk's next attack.

Hawk was quickly becoming frustrated from his constant misses. "Come on, Hawk, you can do this!" Eagle called.

One more time, he tried teleporting into Cinder.

Cinder let out a huge yawn...and was suddenly thrown to the ground, face first! His mouth full of dirt, he managed to shake Hawk off, but not without taking huge damage. Spitting out the dirt, he whined sadly...that hurt!
"D-Don't give up! You c-can do it!" Miranda said hopefully. She didn't know her opponent was that powerful..."You have to fight back! Use your magic... Mind Intruder spell!

Hawk pulled his ears close over his head. Everything was hurting now... He took a deep breath, and tried to heal.

Cinder looked as Hawk started to look healthier...so he was healing. Maybe he could finish him off! Playing it safe, he went for a basic attack...Pepper Spray!
As he sneezed out the powder, he wished hawk the best of luck!

A puff of wind blew the powder away on the wind. Hawk used the opportunity to continue his last bit of healing.

Cinder watched disappointedly as his finishing attack simply blew away...oh well, while his opponent was busy healing, now was his chance! Without a second thought, he quickly launched his powerful beam...Psybeam!

The final damage was too much - Hawk was thrown backwards, and, while still conscious, didn't have enough energy to continue fighting. Eagle frowned and sighed. "Well, we were close." She looked to Miranda. "Nice match, anyway."

"Yeah, it was pretty close! Hawk fought really well, too. I hope you had fun!" Cinder was pretty proud about winning, he didn't very often. The wuffpup grabbed a muffin from the bag and rolled it towards Hawk and Eagle. A small gift as a thank you for a great fight! "I guess you get 2 stat points then. Thanks for the match, I'll see you around!"
