Reaping Reaper

Reaper and Hiiragi sit on the seats of an empty football stadium. Reaper is slurping a drink and Hiiragi is browsing the web, sipping a coffee.

It says here that it's possible to keep your Yogpet in the pup stage for as long as you like, Reaper.

I don't wanna remain a babby, I want to grow up and get stronger!

Welp, that's fine. If you wanna get Stronger, you have to be willing to get beaten up a bit, Reaper.

I know, I'm tough... I can handle myself!

"If We're going to be hunting some Nilesy line pups we need to get tougher! For lord's sakes you could be taken down in one blow!" Cypriss said emphatically.

"I'm no nooblord! Check my dodges!" Sawizerd said leaping left, right, left, and falling onto his face.

"Yeah.... and so we go back to the point you need training.." Cypriss said as he approached the empty stadium.

"EEP!" Sawizerd yelped. "A SIPS!!" He bounced behind Cypriss. "COME ON, SIPS-RISS. you got an affinity right? Don't let him take my money!"

"It's Cypris.. SIGH-PRISS. Not sip-riss.. Anyhow you don't even have money! Get out there and take him down.. or are you.. a goddamn noob?" Cypriss said with a wry grin.

Sawizerd huffed at Cypriss and did his best strut out. "Arright ya' bloody bat-winged scrublord! Ah'll show yer' what a Sawizerd is made of!"

"Let's hope he doesn't mean that literally..."

Oh, Hey Cypris! Sawizerd's gained some vocabulary I see!

Hiiragi looks at the little Wizpup.

Well, Reaper needs to get stronger. Let's battle! If you win, I'll give you 10 Points? If I win... well I guess I get 10?

Hiiragi closed the laptop and put it on the seat. She and Reaper walked down onto the field and kept a good distance from Cypris and Sawizerd.

"Yeah.. He gained vocabulary and nothing else." Cypriss said with a laugh. As Hii laid out the rules Cypriss got a sinking feeling. Nothing for loosing..? "Aw man... We're so toast." Cypriss said as he looked to Sawizerd.

"DON'T DOUBT ME SO OBVIOUSLY!" Sawizerd clenched his eyes. "Prototype... FIRE!" He opened his eyes with a flash as he gathered up his magical energy...

The pink energy flowed out of him and formed up into flames! This was his initial assault!

"Alright, that's enough." Cypriss said as he placed his hands on his sides smiling. "You did well buddy.."

"N-.. No!" Sawizerd said gathering his power up.

"Sawizerd, stop! You're already hurt! There's no way you can do enough to end it now! Just cut it out!"

"I been runnin' away since my fight wi' epic.. But this ain't scary... We can leave it all on the field here, and not regret nothing later!"

"b... But.."

"Ahm damn tired... of regretting not trying harder later!" Sawizerd said before gathering his power up for one final strike: "PROTOTYPE... ICE!"
