It started with an egg.
It started with a computer.
It ended... With a thief and a super weapon.
The orphaned boy tried begging. But no one would give him anything. He tried working. But no one would hire him. He tried stealing. And this one worked. For the first time since the fire, he was happy. But he still had the scar on his face, impossible to conceal. The scar the Accursed Ones had. The destroyers, who brought death in thier shadows and sorrow at thier side. But he didn't mind. He was happy.
The thing tried fighting. But that was what they wanted. It tried revolting. But they just locked it away. It tried waiting. And this one worked. For the first time since his creation, he was happy. But he still floated in a tank of viscous fluid, glowing green. The computer still worked, in his brain. But he didn't mind. He was happy.
Then fate conspired to help them both, to be not just happy but caring, loving, laughing, and feeling. So the boy robbed the lab. The intimidating place, Yoglabs. And the thing waited some more. When the boy found him, he awoke. Then he shattered the glass, far stronger than the scientists anticipated. And he crawled out on spider legs, and the boy ripped his red shirt, wrapping a strip around the things, named Cyenic now, and a "he", not an its, face, covering its scars. The wires protruding from exposed tissue. The sensors, the "enhancements", under his skin, he felt, but they felt... Right. BiOS booted up from its hibernation. And they left, always to steal and be pursued, and the thief gained a weapon, the super weapon gained freedom, and they both gained a friend.
