It must have been the warming of spring that put so much energy into the young metal-based pup. Addy wasn’t aware of any other pup coming into spring as violently as Agi was and all she could do was feed him medication to calm him or fulfill his overwhelming desire to fight. This morning had been particularly brutal with Agi refusing to even listen to Addy and being an overall monster to everything she tried to do this morning.
That’s how she got here, to this empty battle arena, the warm spring sun rolling over the edge of the edge of the circular sparing pit. She had captured a wild pup along the way but Agi made quick work of it. “Something smarter,” Agi growled, “something that not go down quick!”
Addy sighed. She really need to talk to a doctor about this, or maybe even get in contact with the “Lalna” character that gave her the egg. She looked down to the next wild pup she had in a cage and cooed at the poor thing. “You’ll be okay,” she told the pup, “I won’t let Agi kill you.” She released the wild pup into the arena and sat back, watching as Agi attacked. “I hope,” she muttered.
